This new booklet published by the NCHT describes a gentle walking route around Austwick with text telling the interesting history of the many old properties in the village. It is accompanied by an attractive guide map drawn by James Innerdale. The booklet contains many early postcard pictures together with drawings of village houses (also made by James Innerdale). It is the result of local knowledge and historical research carried out in recent years by Dr Sylvia Harrop, a historian and resident of Austwick, and recent chairman of the Trust.
