Legacies to support the work of the Trust

In common with many other trusts and charities we ask you to consider financial support for the work of the North Craven Heritage Trust by way of a gift made as a legacy in a will. We appreciate the commitment made by members over the past decades which has allowed the Trust to encourage care for the historic features of North Craven, to support projects with local heritage value and to fund essential repairs to many local places of worship of all denominations. In recent years over £8000 has been disbursed. The funding from membership subscriptions is not sufficient to maintain this level of support. If you would like any guidance on helping the Trust by gifting a legacy please contact the Chairman or Treasurer in confidence. A solicitor will give appropriate advice on the legal and taxation implications. It is important to specify the Trust name in full and its Charity Commission Registration number in any bequest.
